HOBOKEN, N.J. — In a significant move to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and validated academic research, global content leader Wiley has announced the launch of the Wiley AI Gateway, an AI-native research intelligence platform designed to inject trusted, peer-reviewed knowledge directly into the workflows of the world's leading AI technologies.
The new platform is the industry's first to provide researchers with access to authoritative content from a network of scholarly publishers through a single, highly-optimized endpoint. This intentional focus on interoperability means the AI Gateway seamlessly integrates scholarly data with popular AI platforms, including Anthropic's Claude, AWS Marketplace, Mistral AI's Le Chat, and Perplexity.

The launch addresses the rapidly accelerating adoption of AI in research, which, according to recent figures cited by Wiley, surged from 57% to 84% in a single year. The core mission of the AI Gateway is to ensure this AI-powered discovery is grounded in reliable, validated scholarly sources, thereby mitigating risks such as AI "hallucinations" and systematic bias.
