Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Library Director at Slatington Public Library. The Library Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, including managing library staff, developing and implementing library policies, and ensuring the library's collections and services meet the needs of the community. Responsibilities include overseeing public services, managing library circulation, coordinating library programs, and maintaining the library's facilities. The Library Director will also work with community organizations and stakeholders to promote library services and programs. This is an on-site role, located in Slatington, PA.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Library Science and Library Services
- Proven skills in Library Management and overseeing Public Services
- Experience in managing Library Circulation operations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders
- Degree in Library Science or related field
